The burning question: If a New York City weekend comes and goes sans brunch, did it even happen?
When we weren’t looking (a.k.a when we were too busy downing bottomless mimosas and devouring avocado toast to notice), the “too late to be breakfast, but too early to be lunch” meal joined the likes of yellow cabs, food trucks, and pizza by the perfectly-priced 99-cent slice as things that are so New York. And though we’re of the general opinion that no brunch is really bad brunch, we do have a few go-to spots for the perfect mid-afternoon eats around the city that never sleeps. Feast your eyes on our favorite NYC brunch restaurants, and prep yourself for some literal feasting this weekend.
